She was only second up on that occasion and she will have scope to improve when she presents within the same distance range today. It has been a while between wins, but that is the case with a few other key runners too. Custo (5)$3.40 is always super consistent but finds it hard to win. This is a great race to get back into said winners circle. Mongolian Spring drops in grade and just needs some luck from a wide draw to figure. Tryanza (10) can be in this for a long way so looks over the odds.

Covered ground in the run from the wide gate and far from disgraced when seventh over 1200m at the Gold Coast. Each-way player. HUMPHREE BEAR(6)$5.50 goes well on his home track and is ready for this trip. Came out quickly and folded up in the straight over the final 200m when fourth over 1010m at Coffs Harbour. Assess on the good third here two back over the 1200m.

He can be expected to appreciate the significant distance rise which now awaits, when he will be competing in winkers for the first time, MAHUIKA MAROI (5)$5.50 did all but win with Violet Soulsby aboard within this distance range here last start and maintaining her form is now likely with Violet retaining the ride. He did however achieve his most recent win after a four day back-up and he should be treated with respect when he now makes a Grafton debut. Snagged back and somewhat hidden in her trial, I loved the way she trucked to the line under a hold and wanted to extend away. Halemo (3)$7.00 did look to return better at this track last time out when placed after not setting the world on fire in five starts previously. Massalia (8) has been safely handled of late but is beating a few more home than others and looks a good chance for your multiples.

TUSCAN ROSE(11)$6.50 makes her debut with plenty of jump-out experience behind her, winning the last couple of those on the bounce. Follow the markets in.

Jason Warren has his stable going well at the moment and this bloke has trialled up with real intent. Three jump-outs should have him ready to go for 1400m first up and it's an ideal distance for him fresh. Racing for a $20k Silver VOBIS bonus so suspect they've targeted this race. Just needs luck in running and he should be winning. <br><br>(11) Tuscan Rose (11)$6.50 is likely to have a tactical edge on Prime Pattern (8)$2.10 . She makes her debut here having jumped-out nicely at Flemington. Declan Bates has been aboard recently, so knows her well ahead of this debut. Has had four jump-outs, so won't want for fitness. <br><br>(2) Burrow (2)$20.00 can sneak a place. Blinkers go on for the first time and thought he was good late over 1200m last start. Has jumped-out nicely between runs and draws to settle a pair further forward today. <br><br>Interesting that (1) Bow And Ammo (1) debuts at 1400m off just one 750m jump-out two weeks ago. The Maher stable has apparently been jumping horses out up the hill at Ballarat so suspect he will have done his share of work, but hard to gauge from a punting perspective. Wasn't knocked about in the jump-out we did see.

TIKIELA(6)$34.00 ran on well enough to finish fourth third up from a spell at Hamilton last week over 1100m, and she figure in the top 3 this time, especially with a senior hoop on here.

Chantra (5)$7.00 is another who won well last time out in easier company and is lightly enough raced to suggest there's still upside to come from her.

She is on a 7-day backup so must have done well in the interim, and another good run can be expected. Strikes a very winnable race first up. <br><br>Also having something on (8) Mamzelle Raine (8) who also resumes here. Imminent Storm (7)$10.00 did enough first-up to suggest he's back and in for another good prep.
